Eşref Ziya Terzi, 20 Temmuz 1969 İstanbul doğumlu olup,baba tarafından aslen Bayburtlu’dur.
1988 Sarıyer İmam hatip Lisesi mezunudur. Lisenin sonunda Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi'ni kazanmış ve tamamlamıştır.
Arkadaşları ile radyo kurmaya karar vermiş ve Marmara Fm’i 1993 yılında kurmuştur.
2005 yılında "The İmam", 2024 yılında da "Yeniden Başlamak" filmiyle sinema sahnesine çıkmıştır.
2017 yılında "Hiçlerden Bir Hiç" adında kitap yazmıştır.
Hâlen Marmara Müzik'in sahibidir.
