신용재는 호소력 짙은 보컬로 많은 사랑을 받고있는 보컬리스트이다. 2008년 포맨 EP [First Kiss]로 데뷔하였으며 2009년 포맨의 EP [Voice Of Autumn]의 타이틀 곡 '똑똑똑'을 공개하며 싱어송라이터로서 면모를 처음으로 선보였다. 2012년 1월 피아니스트 이루마, 미국 랩퍼 랩퍼 빅톤(Big Tone)과의 글로벌 프로젝트에서 'Kiss The Rain'을 협연하기도 했던 그는 같은 해 7월 첫 솔로 앨범 [24]를 발표했으며 2014년에 김원주와 2인 체제로 개편하였다. 2020년 밀리언마켓과 전속계약하며 첫 솔로 정규 [Dear]을 발매하며 김원주와 새로운 팀이름 '2F(이프)'로 활발하게 활동중이다.
