take on R&B. Now signed to L.A. Reid and Usher’s label, mega, he first gained recognition playing Kenny Payne in

The Oprah Winfrey Network show, The Paynes, and voicing young Simba in The Lion King (2019). At just 10, he

became Disney/Hollywood Records’ youngest male solo artist, recording “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.” Influenced

by Usher, Chris Brown, and Bobby Brown, JayDon merges classic and modern R&B. His debut EP, Shine, featured

“Keep In Touch,” which was showcased in Just Dance 2020. He has performed on Little Big Shots and collaborated

with Childish Gambino on Awaken, My Love, gaining fans through viral covers like “I Want You Back” and Michael

Jackson’s “Butterflies.”

Closing out 2024, his single “Ah! Ah!” featuring 310babii was a major success, solidifying his presence in the R&B

space. So far in 2025, he’s kept the momentum going, releasing “Lullaby” with Paradise and his most recent single,

“I’ll Be Good.”
