Dilip Kumar Chakraborty

This is a channel about Dilip Kumar Chakraborty.

He was born in Dhaka, grew up in Kolkata. His alma maters are Scottish Church College, Calcutta University, Oxford University, Aligarh Muslim University, from where he obtained his Ph.D. in English. After teaching English Literature and Language in two Universities and two Colleges, he retired as Principal of a Girls' College. Now he is living in Canada. He is an avid reader and a travel enthusiast. This wide range of exposure has given him the opportunity to publish his thoughts in three books.

We, his friends and well-wishers from Toronto celebrated with much fanfare his 80th birth anniversary. Two dozen artists performed, including 93 years old Smt. Kamala Mukherjee, the great grand niece of Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore. Here we are glad to share videos of his birth anniversary and various other speeches telecasted by NRB Television, Toronto.
