About Peter Donegan Garden Design

Peter Donegan MSGLD is a garden designer based in Dublin Ireland.

A registered member of The Society of Garden Landscape Designers, garden judge, speaker and garden design lecturer, named in The Top 100 UK Garden Designers.

2026 Donegan’s designs of Mercy College Secondary School garden meet for the world finals in Saudi Arabia. They won the European finals 2025.

2024 Peter designed the shows featured garden at Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, a tale of their returning Veterans. It won People’s Choice Award, Silver, Australian Institute of Horticulture Award and The APLD USA award. He was also a garden judge at the show.

2023 Donegan became the first Irish landscape architect invited to design at MIFGS. He won Gold medal.

2018 he designed the WW1 Centenary Peace Garden at Château de Péronne and returned 2022 to design a 2nd inaugurated garden at the 13th Century castle.

From 2019 to 2022 Donegan was series garden designer for TV show DIY SOS The Big Build.
