I believe precision belongs to the game, and romance belongs to the memory. During the game, accuracy matters — the score, the stats, the record must be right. But once the final out is made, baseball becomes something else entirely. It becomes a place, light, weather, silence, and the feeling of standing there when it happened. My work exists in that space after the game, where numbers recede and meaning remains. I don’t make highlights; I preserve moments. I don’t chase immediacy; I build objects and images meant to be remembered. Because most games are never televised, most fields are never famous, and most players will never wear another uniform — and yet every one of them deserves to be remembered with care.
