Arilena Ara (born 17 July 1998 in Shkodër, Albania) is a successful Albanian pop singer who first gained national fame by winning the second season of X Factor Albania in 2013. She released her debut single “Aeroplan” in 2014 and later achieved wider recognition with songs like “Nëntori”, which became popular beyond Albania and topped the Romanian Airplay chart. In 2019 she won Festivali i Këngës with “Shaj”, earning the opportunity to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 (event later canceled). Arilena’s music blends pop, R&B, and dance influences, and she has collaborated with artists like Noizy (“Murderer”) and Dafina Zeqiri (“Thirr Policinë”), while her work includes the album Pop Art The Album.
