Hi, I'm Clare Petra, a savvy journalist with a passion for all things gadget, technology, social media and cars. I’m really just somebody with a camera who’s trying to take you along on my YouTube journey, learning along the way and sharing what I learn with you.

I am an experienced journalist and editor in various industries, including forestry, architecture, education, and eventually tech. I felt though that consumer tech needed more, I needed more, and here I am running gadget-gal.com and trying my hand at YouTube.

I used to co-host the Talking Tech podcast but now co-host the Bit by Bit podcast with my husband. I'm a frequent contributor to several radio programmes, magazines, and TV and hope I bring you a unique and humorous, maybe even entertaining perspective to the world of technology.
