Little Creatures - Topic

青柳拓次(Vo/G)、鈴木正人(Bass/Key)、栗原務(Dr/Per)の3人で87年、高校在学中に結成。新宿、渋谷を中心にストリートライヴを繰り広げながら人気を博し、90年にシングル「THINGS TO HIDE」でデビュー。デビュー2ヶ月後に、青柳はスコットランド、鈴木はアメリカへ語学兼音楽留学のため旅立つ。91年に1stアルバム「VISITA」をリリース。97年、3rdアルバム「little creatures meets future aliens」リリース以降は、”KAMA AINA”（青柳ソロ）、10人編成のエスペラント楽団 “Double Famous”（青柳・栗原）、鈴木はベーシスト、プロデューサーとしての活動など各々のソロ活動を行う。2000年、レーベル移籍を機にプライベート・レーベル「CHORDIARY」を設立。2010年には、デビュー20周年を記念して、約5年ぶりのリリースとなる6thアルバム「LOVE TRIO」、レーベルの枠を越えた初のオールタイム・ベスト「OMEGA HITS!!!」、2011年1月にはLITTLE CREATURESをリスペクトする豪華アーテイストが参加したカバーアルバム「Re:TTLE CREATURES」をリリース。2020年にはデビュー30周年を迎えた。2021年1月に最新アルバム『30』をリリース。孤高の存在としてマイペースに活動中。

Formed in 1987 while still in high school by Takuji Aoyagi (Vo/G), Masato Suzuki (Bass/Key), and Tsutom Kurihara (Dr/Per). They gained popularity while performing street shows centered around Shinjuku and Shibuya and debuted with a single in 1990 “THINGS TO HIDE”. 2020 marks their 30th anniversary from their debut. In January of 2021, they released their 8th album, “30”. Existing with high ideals and working at their own pace.
