As a small channel, We are against YouTube’s removal of the dislike count. The dislike count reflected the quality of the video and often even determined its legitimacy. Dislikes plays an essential role in user-generated content platform to sort out better content from the rest, and restricting user’s access to this statistic handicaps their individual evaluation factor.

Giving the creator the option to hide statistics in their video individually was always the best option (and it already existed).

We are all aware of the content quality of the social media platforms without dislike metric. We don't want Youtube to morph into the same.
