James Clare

I'm a freelance filmmaker based in Bolton who specialises in writing, directing, and editing short films.

In 2021, I graduated from the University of Salford with a 1st Class in BA Film Production having studied scriptwriting, directing, editing and post-sound.

I have been making short films since 2018 and have worked in a variety of roles, developing a basic understanding of all the processes, but my passion for storytelling lies with writing and directing and I am notorious for my editing and 1st assistant directing amongst my peers.
