In these following videos I’ll attempt to show you an ancient art of metal forming called REPOUSSE’ which was used to form the panels for the Statue of Liberty.
While you enjoy the fast pace videos, pay attention how the metal draws in to the form tool keeping the thickness and integrity of the aluminum blank.
I’ve fabricated over 1000 tanks, seats and sundries and sent them worldwide. They are in private collections and popular museum motorcycles.
I’ve used this to form copper also although it requires more skill and patience.
