About Understanding Scripture and Truth by Chino D. Ross
Chino D. Ross was converted to Christianity as a teenager in 1974. After attending a private Southern Baptist High School, he graduated from the University of Mississippi and later pastored churches in several locations. During his tenure in New England he also was a student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary under Dr. Roger Nicole and Dr. David Wells.
He is an experienced outdoorsman and a United States Coast Guard licensed professional fishing guide. For over thirty years he has owned and operated a custom cabinet business in central Kentucky.
The messages you will find here comprise teachings and lectures delivered before a live audience while ministering in Minnesota, Vermont and, most recently, Kentucky.
The purpose of the messages when originally given, as well as now, is two-fold:
1. to honor the Lord by sharing the truths of scripture, and
2. to educate and edify believers as they live the Christian life
Soli Deo Gloria
