Growing up in Malaysia, my childhood is a blur of memories with no pictures to prove they happened. Cameras were a luxury; filmmaking was for the elite. I realized too late that I had no way to "rewatch" my most formative years.

In 2009, I started Mr. Yeast—inspired by the idea of helping others "rise." While others chase millions of views, I chase the singular impact of a student being able to look back 20 years from now and see who they were, how they laughed, and how much they grew.
