About JOB, JORIS & MARIEKE

Job, Joris & Marieke is a Dutch animation studio, founded in 2007 by

Job Roggeveen, Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw. Their work stands out for its surreal concepts and distinctive design. Job, Joris & Marieke are the writers, directors and designers of all their short films and music videos.

In 2015 their short film A Single Life got nominated for an Academy Award®.

Their short film Heads Together was awarded with an International Emmy in 2017.

In 2018 they created another 2 minute short; A Double Life. This film got nominated for a Golden Calf at the Dutch Film Festival.

They released their 12-episode children’s series Swop based on Heads Together in 2022. The series was nominated for a Cinekid Lion.

In 2022 they had an overview exhibition of their work at The Kunsthal Rotterdam.
