About Gopal Sapthaswaram
‘Gopal Sapthaswaram’ came into existence in 1985 as a small Orchestra, with the idea of providing quality entertainment to the music lovers of Chennai. Over the years, thanks to their patronage and encouragement, we have grown to become one of the leading light-music orchestras in the city, our USP being the never compromising quality and passion to render music.
We have performed in India and abroad with leading playback singers like SPB, S Janaki, Vani Jayaram, Sujatha, Mano, Srinivas, Anuradha Sriram and Harini among others. To our credit we have over 3500 shows in India and overseas.
Our forays into television media started in 2005 with a super hit show in Doordarshan (Podhigai TV) titled “Thullatha Manamum Thullum”, comprising of cine melodies of yesteryears rendered precisely by our musicians. Our next venture was “Nenjam Marappadhillai”, for Kalaignar TV.
