We all have our mountain to climb. When we start out we are filled with motivation, excitement, and optimism that with effort and determination we will reach the top. Along the way, some of us have big falls while others seemingly just glide up. Often as we draw close to what we believe is the top we only reach it to see that the final peak is still miles away. And then there are those of us who give up and settle for something less than what we set out for because the effort was just too much. For me...Well, I am still climbing.

I help young men by guiding them by giving them tools and space to grow without judgment. I write songs and play harmonica and guitar. I make videos and I have a passion for making things using primitive means or adapting the things around me. I grow my own fruit, vegetables, and mushrooms. I fish and hunt and share my land freely with like-minded people who have given to their community without asking anything back. I am not at all concerned about where you have been but I am interested in where you are going if you wander upon my path or if we should share some time together. Our health is the most valuable thing we have and I do my best to look after those I love and myself by practicing respect, discipline, and creating healthy habits on a daily basis. I was born in 1964 in Nelson where my father was a ranger and my mother was a poet.
