En el viaje en la geografía y en el tiempo que ha sido desde un principio el proyecto musical de Jaramar, DILUVIO, su nueva producción discográfica abre una nueva ventana sonora en su trayectoria, aunque más bien debería decirse que son varias ventanas ya que se trata de una producción difícil de clasificar dentro de un solo género. Éste nuevo disco de Jaramar, el número 10 en su discografía y el primero para el sello discográfico mexicano Intolerancia, explora colores que no habían sido probados en sus producciones anteriores; toma un repertorio de canciones que van desde anónimos medievales hasta composiciones de la propia Jaramar y las moldea como plastilina tomando únicamente el texto y la melodía originales para encontrar la forma y el sonido nuevos que deben tener para formar parte de DILUVIO. Los hilos conductores a lo largo del recorrido son ese ánimo de exploración sonora y por supuesto la voz de Jaramar, que en DILUVIO también se abre a nuevos matices y texturas.

Along the course of her career, Jaramar's music has fed on tradition, scrutinizing it to assimilate it and reshaping it to produce a very personal artistic expression that is also a quest through which she, together with the musicians who collaborate with her, takes multicultural elements and makes them her own to create an original musical language that reflects the various roads travelled by each one of them. DILUVIO (FLOOD), Jaramar's 2008 recording project, takes a big leap in her musical exploration. Breaking time and genre boundaries as has been her habit, in this album she plunges into the past and works with a repertoire that goes from anonymous songs from the 13th century to her own compositions in which she explores her obsessions: life, passion, love and death. With the help of her bandmates, she plays with this prime material as if it was plastiline and transforms it with a new voice and a sound that goes from intense and energetic to sweet and deep in a musical search more experimental and risky than that of her previous albums.
