Hunnu Air

Hunnu Air, previously known as Mongolian Airlines, was established in September of 2011. It is part of the Mongolian mining conglomerate, MAK group. Hunnu Air is the largest private airline and the only carrier in Mongolia, which is serving domestic and major international destinations.

Currently, Hunnu Air operates domestic scheduled and charter flights to 10 domestic destinations in 7 provinces, such as Bayankhongor, Umnugobi, Khuvsgul, Khovd, Zavkhan, Dornod, and Gobi-Altai. Also, scheduled international services to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok. Hunnu Air operates seasonal charter flights to Sanya, Hainan; Cheju, Korea; Haneda, Japan; Irkutsk, Russia; Ulan-Ude, Russia and occasional charter flights to Southeast Asian countries.

The rebranding of the company was to instill a distinctive Mongolian heritage, a nomadic vibe and feeling, which is unique in the marketplace that our customers can easily identify and immerse themselves upon booking with Hunnu Air.
