Iran Academia

The Institute for Social Sciences & Humanities (Iran Academia) is dedicated to academic teaching in the humanities and social sciences. The Institute's objective is to advance rigorous learning opportunities for students interested in examining and analyzing current events and social developments occurring in Iran through the modern world's prism.

IA creates and facilitates access to inclusive education, teaching, and knowledge transfer in the realm of social sciences and humanities in such ways that take account of the theoretical, discursive, and practical gaps and erasures that characterizes the state of social sciences education in Iran.

IA aims at enabling Iranian youth from all political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds to access higher education and develop and apply critical thinking skills to a diverse range of social justice, political, and human rights issues that are important to Iran's democratization and yet are excluded from Iran's higher education curriculum.
