Rev. Park studied Foundation Theology (B.Th.) at Sungkyul University. Subsequently, to broaden the horizons of Presbyterian theology, he went to the UK for further studies, beginning a two-year residential program with British students at Faith Mission Bible College (Diploma). He then graduated from the graduate school of the University of Glasgow (PG. Dip.). Upon returning to Korea, he pursued a Master of Theology (M.Th.) at Hanyoung Theological Seminary in Seoul, followed by a (Ph.D.) from the same theological seminary. Afterward, he completed a two-year full-time program at Seoul Theological Seminary in Sangdo-dong, Seoul, for the purpose of ordination. He subsequently considered receiving biblical ordination from the Hamnam Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Hapdong). As described above, he received the education necessary for ministry.
