Apokalypto - ἀποκάλυψις

There is darkness and there is light; they are inseparable. 'Apocalypse' is generally understood in its dark context. And yet the original Greek word literally means: to take away the sepals. In other words - it indicates a flowering! Imagine a bud, held in its protective shell (sepals), not yet knowing its true nature as the flower it's destined to become. How darkly held would it feel? How helplessly restricted? And how profound would be that revelation - when the veil is lifted and truth becomes gloriously apparent?

The thrust of this channel is to dig deep into the emotions associated with hidden aspects of the human psyche - both dark and light. It takes the depth of one to see the expanse of the other.
