After my retirement from the post of Additional Chief Engineer in yr. 2000, I have been working for promotion of music, art and culture through KALA ANKUR of which I am the founder President and present Patron.
KALA ANKUR SANSTHAN is a registered NGO of Ajmer, established in 1996 & run by a group of 60 dedicated members.
Kala Ankur's main aim is to discover young talent and provide them platform and guidance to mature into good performing artists.
Apart from its annual activities of talent search & promotion, some other programs based on different themes are also organized.
Kala Ankur's most popular program is its yearly SMARAN series of musical tribute to the late legends of music. In this series, we have so far covered 16 legends starting from K.L.Sehgal in1997.
Kala Ankur also runs an academy affiliated to Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, where quality coaching is provided for all art forms.
