I couldn't care less about the top score. These are uploaded to give players a preview of the Daily Run to see if they want to attempt it or not for the achievements. How one plays it is up to them, their goals and their skill level.
+ Can you add some music? +
No, I prefer to play without game music as I am listening to my own. Additionally, it is easier for players who watch while playing so they do not get double audio.
+ Why didn't you take X, Y, Z item(s) +
Personal preference. I dislike having a bunch of familiars following me around or the synergy wasn't worth it. Feel free to take any items that you feel comfortable with to win!
