WAFI CITY

Wafi City, a distinctive shopping and leisure destination, opened in 1991 as one of the first malls in Dubai. A mixed-use development in the heart of the city, Wafi City is home to retail, restaurants, residences, a health club, spa, Raffles Dubai, and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk.

The mall also includes an eclectic range of venues including Khan Murjan Souk, Wafi Restaurants, Pharaohs’ Club and Cleopatra’s Spa and Wellness. The unique architectural style across the site follows that of ancient Egypt and features columns reminiscent of Karnak, pyramids and images of pharaohs.

Inspired by the 14th century souk in Baghdad, Khan Murjan Souk at WAFI is home to a vision that gathers different cultures from the Arab world by creating a vibrant marketplace environment. The Souk’s brings together traditional craftsmen from Turkey, Egypt, Syria and Morocco.
