The year 1976 was the year of transformation for the founder Pastor Selvaraj, when the living Lord entrusted a commission to reach the unreached Indians. The first church was established in a small village of Tamil Nadu, In the year 1980 and registered with the government of Tamil Nadu as a charitable society in the year 1984. This was the humble beginning of the church planting activity with the introduction of indigenous missionaries, now spread out in three different states of India.

Garment India Ministries is a non-profit faith mission started in 1976, committed to reach the unreached Indians, serving the Lord by serving the least, removing the barriers between people, dedicated to meet for the survival, spiritual and social needs of the underprivileged children, neglected elderly ones, physically challenged individuals, and the destitute.

Garment India is the short form of Gospel and Revival Movement - India
