Professor Sheo Sagar Ojha is Head of Department of Geography , University of Allahabad. Born on 31st July 1956 to late Smt Chavi Ojha ( mother ) & ( father ) Shri Ram Bali Ojha in Umarpur village of Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. UGC awarded him national scholarship & JRF during his Dphil on the topic “A Geomorphological Study of small drainage basins of Palamau Upland Bihar”. During field research he discovered Datum & Patam waterfalls which were not mentioned in Survey of Indian Toposheets . Authored following books 1. Geography of India ( Hindi ). 2 Astronomy ( Hindi ). 3 China & Japan ( Hindi ). 4. Question Bank ( Hindi ). 5 Atlas ( Hindi ). 6 Regions & Regionalisation ( Hindi ). 7 Climate ( Hindi ). He authored many research papers. Supervised many Dphil Students. Expert in weather forecasting.
