Raised in Osun state, Nigeria; and now living in Nottingham, L-Dafar has released three music videos and several songs that have caught the attention of their target audiences in their own way.
His song, “Tavis” (alongside its music video), rocked the population of Ipswich as a campaign song against knife crime in the area and fast became an anthem among the youth of the town. In his interview with ITV Anglia about the song, he said “... I felt like I had to do something.”
He released his first compilation project “I Am King: The Mixtape” on the 25th of October, 2019.
