Home renovation projects have been in my blood since my father had me help roof my family home in my early teens. My husband and I have been buying and renovating 1950's ranch houses for over forth years. My latest project is the restoration of a historically significant mansion in Galveston, Texas. Place on the Galveston Historical Foundation's 2021 Heritage at Risk List, this 1893 Victorian mansion is getting some serious restoration, quite a departure from what I usually get to work on. You can see all the gritty detail that can't be captured in an hour long tv show on my other channel dedicated to that project. League-Kempner House The last grand house designed by famed architect Nicholas Clayton has suffered years of neglect but retains almost all of it's original detail. It will take lots of time, money, and hard work but the house deserves it.
