VELS.

“VELS” an acronym for Vile Evil Lives, a local independent alternative rock band from Chiang Mai, Thailand with elements of many genres of music such as Math-Rock and Psychedelic-Rock. We also see ourselves as an alternative rock that juxtaposed gentle moods with harshness.

In the same ways we produced our music, the messages behind our lyrics and storytelling are always about the truth that everyone has to experience in the a human’s life, whether it be love, hate, society issues or emotions, all of above including depraves thoughts behind our smile that we can’t avoid, like an evil that always lives with us.

We represent the complexities of human thoughts or as we quote “There’re always evil hiding in virtue and behind every truth there’s always a lie.”
