Nayad's Kitchen

My name is Nayad, Im Mexican-Lebanese born in Guadalajara, MX now living in SoCal. Growing up, food was always the glue that united everyone together. But I personally never really learned to cook or felt much interest and was afraid of the kitchen. My family were all great cooks, not me. I couldn’t even boil water to save my life. That really changed! Now I love cooking. I really enjoy trying to make my favorite dishes. The health benefits of cooking at home, huge savings, and that sense of satisfaction when you can turn ingredients into edible art. Im not a chef or trained at all, so I hesitated to do this at first. But I've realized you don’t have to be a chef to make yummy food.  So my desire with this channel is to empower others, to help whoever is watching to feel more confident and see how cooking doesn't have to be complicated, difficult or stressful. Im learning & growing and maybe we can grow and learn together!  So my motto is… “If I can do it, you can do it too!”
