About Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan

Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan started playing on different musical instruments since he was 6 years old. At the school brass band he played on clarinet and saxophone; at the national competitions has been repeatedly awarded the title of laureate of “Creative pupil”: In his fifteen he wrote “Heroic ballad” melody based on “Mkhitar Sparapet” novel. “Aibolit” and “Neuron” vocal instrumental bands have been established by the leadership of Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan in the years of study in Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. Later on the “Neuron” band has been awarded the title of laureate at the international competition. Since 1988 to nowadays, the works of Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan are being recorded and broadcast by the performance of Variety Ensemble of Radio and Television of RA. These were the years, when the ”Bright Sadness”, “Sing my violin” and other works were born and loved by the public.
