日本のロック史上に伝説を打ち立てたバンドX JAPANのギタリスト“HIDE”、『ROCKET DIVE』『ピンク スパイダー』などの名曲を発信したソロアーティスト“hide”（hide with Spread Beaver/zilch）として、その個性的なファッションや、メイクは“ヴィジュアル系”という新たなカルチャーを創り上げ、革新的で時代を先取りした音楽、おもちゃ箱をひっくり返したような奇想天外なライブパフォーマンスは日本の音楽シーンに多大なる影響を与えた。

1998年に急逝するも、hideが残した「サウンド」と「メッセージ」は色褪せることなく語り継がれ、今もなお、世界中で絶大な人気を誇るロックアーティストである。

"HIDE" is the guitarist of X JAPAN, a band that made a legend in the history of Japanese rock music, and "hide" is a solo artist who has released masterpieces such as "ROCKET DIVE" and "Pink Spider". (hide with Spread Beaver/zilch), whose unique fashion and makeup created a new culture called "Visual Kei". His innovative, pioneering music and his outlandish live performances showcase a wide variety of musical elements which had a tremendous impact on the Japanese music scene.

Although hide passed away suddenly in 1998, his "sound" and "message" have never faded away, and he remains an immensely popular rock artist worldwide.
