About Timbo Took

Timbo Took is the second son of Faramir Took the 1st and Goldilocks Gardner. While his older brother, Faramir Took the 2nd, was busy being an apprentice to their father, Timbo was freed up from responsibility and was able to go off adventuring with his Grandgaffer Gamgee and his Grandpappy Took. His Gruncle Merry would join them as well. He loved to listen to their stories of their adventure with the great Mr. Frodo.

When Timbo was a young hobbit, the Blue Wizard, or as Timbo and the other hobbits knew him, Bob Ross the Blue, would visit the Shire once a week and teach all the hobbits how to paint. When Timbo's adventuring days seemed to be slowing down, he decided to honour the Blue Wizard and the Great Professor Tolkien (who had taken over telling the history of Middle-earth once Frodo had left the Shire).

Timbo created "The Joy of Painting Middle-earth" to honour the stories of Professor Tolkien blessed us with by using the skills taught to him by Bob Ross the Blue.

FAQ

The page combines cached API data and fast refresh polling to stay responsive while still tracking changes closely. Exact public YouTube counts can lag, but the page updates far more frequently than the default channel view.

The chart appends new subscriber readings every few seconds. That gives you a rolling growth trace instead of a static count snapshot.
