Letoaalii Hughes, professionally known as Letoa, is a 22-year-old Samoan-Australian artist based in New Zealand and a pioneering figure of the early Aesthetic Rap movement. As one of the genre’s original innovators during its formative years, Letoa helped define a sound that has since faded, leaving his influence embedded in the scene’s foundation. His breakout releases “guap,” “E45,” and “ICE COLD” have collectively amassed millions of streams, earning him a dedicated global following. Collaborating with artists such as lilbubblegum and Dozy Doe, Letoa continues to evolve beyond the genre he helped shape.
