About Scott Young
In 2011 I started a project to try to learn MIT's fabled 4-year computer science undergraduate program without going to school. MIT makes many of their courses available for free through OCW (and, more recently, edX) which allow you to access lectures, notes and real exams MIT students have previously taken. Added to that, I wanted to finish the entire process in under 12 months.
Watch all the videos as you see me make progress toward my goal, completing all the final exams and programming projects an MIT student would undertake. To see my results, access the courses for yourself or plan your own "MIT Challenge" visit the homepage: http://www.scotthyoung.com/blog/mit-challenge/
