About The Strumbellas

The Strumbellas know that misery loves company — and that even in dark times, being together can spark joy. Since their 2012 debut My Father And The Hunter, the band has chased big hooks, group vocals, and folk-rock lift through their 2016 breakthrough Hope to 2024’s Part Time Believer. Their Juno and iHeartRadio-winning sound returns with Hard Lines, a bold new take on their signature blend of intimate emotion and stadium-sized folk energy.

Determined to use every tool in their songwriting arsenal, the band started by turning inward — collecting stray titles, voice memos, and half-sung melodies from across the group. From Toronto, they reached out to trusted collaborators in Vancouver, Nashville, and LA to craft demos ranging from stripped-down whispers to full-on anthems. They then headed to Norman, Oklahoma, to record with producer Chad Copelin (LANY, Sasha Sloan, Colony House), whose sharp instincts helped shape the song’s edgier, textured alt-folk feel.

FAQ

The page combines cached API data and fast refresh polling to stay responsive while still tracking changes closely. Exact public YouTube counts can lag, but the page updates far more frequently than the default channel view.

The chart appends new subscriber readings every few seconds. That gives you a rolling growth trace instead of a static count snapshot.
