About King Isaac

King Isaac is a GRAMMY-nominated reggae and Afro jazz singer, songwriter and ethnomusicologist. The Zimbabwean-born, Michigan-based artist has released eight albums and several singles over the past three decades. King Isaac’s music largely revolves around themes of love, faith, and community. He has collaborated with many Reggae heavyweights, including Leroy Sibbles, Sugar Minott, U-Roy, Chaka Demus and Gregory Isaacs, as well as several African artists across the genres, including Mahotella Queens (South Africa), Jetsky (Uganda), Nicholar (Zimbabwe), and Kearoma Rantao (Botswana) The 2010 album Isaacs Meets Isaac, collaborated on with the legendary Gregory Isaacs, was nominated for a GRAMMY Award that year.
