Run For Hope

Everyone’s on their own pilgrimage. Every day we go out into the world and battle the challenges we face. Some are big, some are smaller, but they’re all significant. My challenge is a knee injury that meant I couldn’t even run 100m. So, late last year, I challenged myself to complete my own pilgrimage – to run eight marathons in eight days to raise money in partnership with Helpende Hand for SA’s hungry children.

During my pilgrimage, from October 16 to 23, 2021, I will visit schools and churches at each of the town’s I pass through between Stellenbosch & L'Agulhas to better understand the challenges towns face and to find out how we can help.

Helpende Hand has applications for 12 000 meals a day for hungry children, and currently only has funds and the capacity to feed 8 000 children at R40 a day.

To help me accomplish my dream of completing my RUN FOR HOPE PILGRIMAGE and also to feed as many children as possible , we are calling on your sponsorship.
