Neuroscience is a science that studies the structure, functioning, development, genetics, biochemistry, physiology and pathology of the nervous system. It involves the study of the human brain at various levels, from the molecular to the cellular level, as well as at the level of larger systems such as the cerebral cortex or cerebellum. Neurobiology is also related to neurophysiology, which studies the characteristics of physiological processes in the human brain and their impact on higher nervous activity.
