Discernment Doula

The pain and torment caused by the narcissist, I believe, can never be fully grasped. Narcissism feels so ‘anti’ anything right, just, compassionate or fully human and loving. This channel discusses this truly awful affliction and its devastating impact.

I have also come to a belief and realisation that the scourge of narcissism, while at first leaving those truly affected by it feeling traumatised, forsaken, grief stricken and bereft, can ultimately be used as a tool for good. The miserable and wretched narcissist teaches us, if we use the lessons wisely, where we have gone wrong, that we have yoked to something not of God, who has steered us off our true and righteous path. Ultimately, we can learn true discernment, and to align with that which is good and true.

‘Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;

whoever is discerning, let him know them;

for the ways of the Lord are right,

and the upright walk in them,

but transgressors stumble in them.’
