"Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat" is a term used by Sunni Muslims to refer to the mainstream Sunni Islamic tradition, which emphasizes adherence to the "Sunnah" (teachings and practices) of Prophet Muhammad and the consensus of the community ("Jamaat"). In South Asia, it is also known as the Barelvi movement, a Sunni revivalist tradition that incorporates Sufi customs and is associated with specific scholars and spiritual centers.
