Simply Simple Cooking

I am Akshay and welcome to my channel Simply Simple Cooking, I am in love with food! I enjoy the explosion of flavours on my taste buds. One of my fondest memories as a child is sitting on the kitchen counter, watching my mother cook. But as I travelled for work, I missed the tastes of home.

And so began long phone calls home, noting down recipes followed by weekend experiments in the kitchen; some notable successes, some memorable disasters! But I learnt. And as I learnt the art of cooking on those long Sunday afternoons, I started adding a twist of own too many of those recipes.

As my cooking improved with time, I was bold enough to share my end products with my friends.

Over the years, the piles of my recipe books have been transformed into my YouTube channel, which has now been augmented by my full-blown website simplysimplecooking.net.

I am not professionally trained in the culinary arts, but well, neither was my grandmother, nor my mother! So come, celebrate food with me.
