Welcome to my channel! My name is Mat and I am a scientist (an astrophysicist to be specific). My channel is all about science videos, varying from 'What is it like to fall in to a black hole' to 'What is Cancer'. I do a main video every week on a different interesting science topic or answering a frequently asked science question. I explain the science from a nice basic level allowing anyone of any age to understand and get excited about science!

About me: I am a British PhD student, currently about halfway way through my PhD. After which I will be a doctor (sadly not The Doctor). I worked for a year at the European Space Agency on the Gaia space mission.
