About Mitchell Reel Museum
Since 2000 I've been playing with my favorite hobby, collecting, studying and researching Mitchell fishing reels and its history. In 2006 after my first book on Mitchell reels was published called "The Classic Mitchell 300 Spinning Reel", I started building a website dedicated to all things Mitchell called the Mitchell Reel Museum.
Due to the overwhelming interest worldwide, in 2011 I started the Mitchell Reel Museum Discussion Group to help with all the questions coming in worldwide. We are not an exclusive club or organization of any kind. We are just Mitchell fishermen, collectors and historians who enjoy an open discussion forum on "vintage" Mitchell Fishing Reels.
Now in 2014, I am now building a new Mitchell reel website called the Mitchell Reel Museum Blog! This blog is to combine the best of the best information gathered from both of my other sites, the Mitchell Reel Museum and the Mitchell Reel Museum Discussion Group.
