Maitreyee is an established Rabindra Sangeet artists and have performed on numerous stages and tv programmes. She is a disciple of Lt. Pt. Manas Chakraborty of Kotali Gharana where she is trained for 12 long years. .Her Rabindra Sangeet training started under her father’s inspiration and later professionally trained by Smt. Sanghamitra Gupta, eminent Rabindra Sangeet artist and retd. professor of Viswa Bharati. Maitreyee have got unique rendition skills which is rare to find in this generation of Rabindra Sangeet artists accompanied by her trained melodious voice. Her style of singing Rabindra Sangeet is pure and she posses an unique capability to put life into the song which touches heart. Apart from performance in academics she has successfully completed M.A and M.Phil and PhD in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University.She is a regular stage performer.For program contact
