The Hangout

The Hangout is a mental health and wellbeing service for young people in Cardiff and the Vale aged 11-18.

Our aim is simple: be somewhere where young people can connect with others, feel part of their community and access mental health support. Everything we do is designed by young people, for young people. This means that the space, activities and services provided by the Hangout have all been coproduced to make sure that the support on offer works. We're an out of hours service so that we can make sure that young people have access to mental health and wellbeing support when they need it.

We offer:

- Drop-in mental health and wellbeing support

- Booked 1-2-1 wellbeing support, whenever it's needed

- Wellbeing-focused activity sessions

- General activity sessions

- Opportunities to meet new people

- Volunteering opportunities
