Janine Teñoso is a young singer-songwriter who is on a course trajectory for Pinoy Pop stardom. Janine made her Viva Records debut in 2016 with an original song entitled “Fall” composed and written by her. She also made renditions of classic OPM songs for VIVA’s blockbuster movies during 2017-2018 such as Rivermaya’s 214 for the movie “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” and Itchyworms’ Di Na Muli for the movie “Sid & Aya Not a Love Story”. With 1.2 million weekly streams, Janine has earned the de facto monicker ‘movie theme song princess.’

In 2019, she bagged two awards during the 32nd Awit Awards, the country’s equivalent to the Grammies, with her original song “Ang Awit Natin” as Record of The Year and her rendition of “Di Na Muli” as Best Pop Recording given by the Philippines Association of the Record Industry.
