About Khalil Abou Obeid

Born in Zahle, Khalil Abou Obeid is a talented Lebanese composer, arranger and singer who was raised by a father that had a great voice & a mother with a good ear for music.

Khalil started his piano lessons at the tender age of four, and he was only eight when he had his first public performance.

Despite his music devotion, Khalil pursued a double major in psychology & philosophy at USEK. He then obtained a master’s degree in philosophy.

Khalil’s burning desire for music got him many certificates and diplomas in musicology, along with religious, oriental and operatic music. He also earned a diploma with excellence in solfege, dictation and composition. He learned the basics of harmony by world-class maestro & composer Toufic Sukkar.

Khalil is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Musicology in the renowned university of USEK, Lebanon.

It’s in his philosophy that Khalil sees a new world of music in the Middle East.

He dedicates it to every person who loves and cherishes good music

The chart appends new subscriber readings every few seconds. That gives you a rolling growth trace instead of a static count snapshot.
