Queensland Music Awards (QMA) Finalists 2021, AYA J are an Indie Electro Pop duo living in the Southern Gold Coast. AYA J is made up of Gumbaynggirr singer-songwriter Angus Field from Coffs Harbour, and drummer Sam Miller who is originally from Idaho, USA.

Nominated for their song Tenth Street in the QMA Indigenous category, the group are set to embark on their first-ever tour playing in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, and Sydney. Their live show prescribes a captivating electronic pop act with soul.

Forming in 2020 and debuting with their single ‘Layla’ in July 2020, they followed up releasing their debut EP ‘Tenth Street’ in December 2020. To date, their music has been produced by German and Australian-based writer and producer Jobrizz (Joachim Mueller) who is known for his work with The Stafford Brothers, Potbelleez, Timberland, Neyo, and Timmy Trumpet.

AYA J is an act to listen and watch out for in 2021.
